Jamati catches up with the “Model Citizen”-Nenna Yvonne.
Growing up in a small apartment house in Queens, New York,Nenna Yvonne at an early age discovered she had a natural gift for music. At 14 she decided that she wanted to devote her life to music. She had her heart set out to study music – so while attending La Guardia High school of Arts, she learned to write and compose music in various genres and languages including German, French, and Italian. At 19 she partnered up with DTox,her now producer and manager (whom she credits for much of her development as an artist and soon to be released first album project).
This 21 year old Nigerian born diva takes Jamati Entourage ‘Seun Johnson,on a journey through her music career,her experiences and her soon to be released debut album titled “Model Citizen“. This should come as no surprise to all the Akon fans who have seen him break musical and racial boundaries over and over again. He has collaborated with different artists or was featured on songs some critics never thought he could pull off because of his distinctive voice.

Akon Helps Whitney Sing Like She Never Left!
Akon is at it again…helping yet another former (using the term loosely) A-lister come back with a vengeance. Michael Jackson trusted him with a remake of his song and, now, Whitney Houston is working on some tracks and a duet with him titled “Like I Never Left“.
They might also be working on a song for Michael Jackson’s comeback album according to his interview with MTV News where he stated that “Right now that’s in the air. I can’t talk about it.”
