Bekele Wins Sixth Championship, Shoeless…..Well Almost!
Kenenisa Bekele raced across the finish line to win the IAAF World Cross Country Championship for the sixth time. This beats the records set by Paul Tergat and Paul Ngugi who each have five victories under their belt. Bekele lost his shoe in the first five minutes of the race and had to put it back on.
