‘Big Brother Africa: The Revolution’, Coming Soon
After three successful seasons of the world’s first ever continental Big Brother, all systems are ready to go for the fourth installment of Big Brother Africa. A new season of the sensational reality TV series has been announced to begin in September and this time it’s bigger than ever.

Dubbed, ‘Big Brother Africa: The Revolution’, the prize money has been doubled and now stands at a phenomenal USD 200,000 – a breathtaking, life-altering ‘winner takes all’ fortune. Wait that’s not all: there will now be open castings in 18 cities. Dubai Sevens Rugby World Cup
Kenya, Tunisia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, will each have a team at the Dubai Sevens Rugby World Cup scheduled for March 2009 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Kenya, Tunisia and Zimbabwe were Africa qualifiers and South Africa was an automatic qualifier. Zimbabwe beat Namibia 29-10 and Kenya beat Tunisia 22-12 in the semi finals. Kenya beat Zimbabwe 26-14 to qualify for the Rugby World Cup. Tunisia beat Namibia, 26-12 for the final spot at the Rugby World Cup.
Team Zimbabwe Unveiled
The Zimbabwe Olympic Committee (ZOC) finally put weeks of speculation to rest by announcing a 13 member squad for the Beijing Olympics in China next month.”Team Zimbabwe” was unveiled at a function in Harare on Friday night. As expected, champion swimmer Kirsty Coventry — who scooped three medals at the 2004 Games in Athens, Greece — will once again spearhead the country’s medal hunt.
Africas Premier Rugby tournament: The Tusker Safari Sevens
Africa’s Premier Rugby tournament, the Tusker Safari Sevens, comes alive this weekend again in Nairobi Kenya. The event, in its 13th year of existence, sees 16 top class teams chase for honors once again. This years tournament is in itself a milestone as rugby 7’s powerhouses step into Nairobi for the first time ever to take part in this tournament. One can remember that 3 years ago Fijian rugby great, Waisale Serevi, graced the tournament where he played for Kenya Shujaa as a guest player. France and Japan will be making their second appearance in Kenya and going nothing short of victory. (The last time the French were here, they almost never left F2. This time they aim to succeed!)
The Legend of the Sky Kingdom
The Legend of the Sky Kingdom is a cartoon that was made featuring characters made up of bits of junk (all the characters are made from pieces of trash). It is a story about the resilience of a group children who escape from an underground city and travel through the Jungle of Despair, and the Desert of Desolation as they try to evade the evil emperor’s hyenas. » Read more…
